for a long time we have been working on adding custom file type support to provide flexibility for users, & today we are glad to say that it has been implemented in Duplicates Cleaner Prime<\/a><\/p>\n

this powerful new feature which shall be available in upcoming update ( > Version 1.2.3<\/strong>\u00a0) enables users to scan literally any kind of file type they can think of & we made sure that no system critical file type such as .exe is selected by mistake, your security is our prime concern, please follow below steps to add custom file type extensions to app settings<\/p>\n

  1. Open “Settings” page<\/li>\n
  2. Click on “Add” button to open dialog<\/li>\n
  3. Enter file type extensions you like in the format of extension name followed by comma -> “txt,iso,cad,sav<\/strong>” (format is marked in bold)<\/li>\n
  4. Now click on “Add” to confirm the extensions<\/li>\n
  5. Now click on “Ok” to save the settings<\/li>\n
  6. Navigate to home page<\/li>\n
  7. Click on “Scan Duplicate Custom File Types”<\/li>\n
  8. Duplicates for the defined file types are found \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
