I would like to save a regular cleanup routine.
For example I would like to set it up so it does this:
– find all duplicate videos in C:/ABC, D:/DEF, G:/GHI
– find all duplicate pictures in C:/ABC, D:/DEF, G:/GHI
– find all duplicate audio files in C:/ABC, D:/DEF, G:/GHI
– find all duplicate custom file types (like PDFs, TXT, CHM etc) in C:/ABC, D:/DEF, G:/GHI
– delete all empty folders in C:/ABC, D:/DEF, G:/GHI
In this way I could set it up so whenever I’m running low on disc space or the like I can run a routine that will clean up any duplicate media and the like from my download folders and clean up the empty folders afterwards.
I do that sort of thing regularly, but not being able to save these folders as a favourite scan to run means that every time I do it I’m adding a bunch of folders myself, repeating it for all media types, then manually removing the folders.
It would be much handier to just run a favourite scan and pick out the duplicates.
Also, another duplicate program I used once had a handy feature “pick all duplicates from this folder”.
So if I’m scanning a new download folder against an existing curated library of stuff, I can tell it to automatically choose f:/unsortednewdownloads for deletion instead of having to manually unpick a hundred files from g:/organisedfolder which I want to keep intact.

I would like to see a feature that moves duplicate files to another location so if there is a screw up (operator error) the file won’t be lost. For example, I have pictures in a file that are duplicated in a slideshow and deselecting them individually is labor intensive.
