❗ End of Support for Older Android Versions & Low-RAM Devices
Effective from v4.1.6, Duplicates Cleaner will no longer support:
- Android devices running Android 8 (Oreo) or below
- Devices with 2GB RAM or less
- Small screen devices having typical resolution of below 500 (368×448, 240×282)
Why is Support Being Discontinued?
This change is necessary due to:

✅ Performance & Reliability – Advanced similarity detection algorithms require more memory to scan media efficiently without crashing.

By focusing support on newer devices, we can continue enhancing performance, stability, and privacy protection.

What Will Happen If I Use an Unsupported Device?
If you continue using an older or low-RAM device:
- You may not receive future updates or bug fixes
- Some features may stop working properly
- IET similar image detection unavailability
For the best and most secure user experience, we recommend upgrading to a device running Android 9 or above with at least 3GB RAM.
